Our free classes and workshops cover the ABCs of meditation – breathing and concentration techniques to remove stress and calm the mind; the use of creative visualisations and mantric chants; meditation in the spiritual heart centre; how to set up your own personal meditation program – plus discussion topics and pointers on using your meditation skills to really make a positive difference in your daily life.

Unitec, 139 Carrington Road (Gate 3), Building 159, Multi-faith Chaplaincy Centre Our popular Learn to Meditation series of classes are designed to introduce you to simple and effective exercises to still the mind, including breathing techniques, creative visualisation, concentration and meditation techniques. Topics for discussion include using meditation for self-awareness, overcoming stress and other life problems, achieving inner potential and spiritual awakening. Course – Once a week for 4 weeks
Option A: Every Tuesday for 2 weeks starting from Sep 3; 7.30-8.30pm
