We have three meditation retreats planned this year – two in May & July at in the Waitakere Ranges and one in June in Acacia Bay, Taupo
Meditation Retreat Weekends at Aio-Wira
You’re invited to attend one of our two upcoming retreat weekends at the beautiful Aio Wira Retreat Centre in the Waitakere Ranges. Its a lovely, quiet space surrounded by native forest and located only 10 minutes from Bethells Beach and the coastline trails. Each overnight weekend stay will cover a wide range of lifestyle positives: meditation skills; music and mantras to still the mind; vegan and vegetarian food; fitness guidelines from our health pros; trail walks and jogs on the Te Henga trail and around Lake Wainamu; and time out on the nearby beaches.
The course itself is free, however the venue needs to cover accommodation costs and veg meals, both of which are relatively inexpensive. Accommodation is in very comfortable bunk rooms (4 people) and smaller units for one, two or three persons.
Option A: May 16-17
Option B: July 11-12
A Mid -Year Meditation Retreat, Acacia Bay, Taupo
Sat June 20 – Sun June 21, 2020 at the Tauhara Centre
This retreat is designed especially for those interested in further developing their spiritual practices to include vegetarian diet, exercise and physical wellbeing, plus other lifestyle positives that can help us deepen our meditation experience.
Participants will need to have attended one of our introductory meditation courses first.
The weekend will include outdoors activities such as trail walks in the nearby Kaimanawas, meditations, mantras, music, nutrition – and lots of fun!
We can accommodate 35 people.
Our organizers don’t charge any fee in offering this retreat other than meal costs. The Tauhara Centre charges a minimal accommodation/facilities/kitchen hire cost which is shared by participants. There are different accommodation options available – from 4-person bunk rooms to personal units. These costs will be posted here in February.
Transport will be arranged by car pooling from Auckland – departure from Auckland at 7:00am on Saturday morning, June 20th.
